What is Target e*CRF? Target e*CRFTM is a web-based, proprietary, data and project management system created exclusively by Target Health Inc. to collect clinical trial data over the Internet.  Operationally, data are entered and submitted directly to a remote central database through a web-based data entry interface.  Benefits include real time data availability, elimination of traditional paper CRF books, and minimization of data transcription and logic errors. Is Target e*CRF safe? Target e*CRF runs on a fault-tolerant system with multiple backups. As far as communication safety is concerned, we utilize highly encrypted SSL to protect both incoming and outgoing data transmission. What does this mean? It means that: We are protected against hackers to the highest degree available. All patient information is maintained in accordance to both Federal and State requirements for confidentiality.
